NeuroFriends

NeuroFriends is a community-driven project created to support neurodivergent people through peer connection, shared experiences, and accessible information. It exists as both an in-person group and a digital platform, with technology used to support people rather than overwhelm them.

The website and supporting tools are built using a CMS-based stack, allowing non-technical contributors to manage content and events while maintaining a consistent and accessible presentation. Careful attention has been paid to layout, language, and interaction design, informed by neurodiversity-affirming principles and accessibility best practices.

NeuroFriends brings together my technical skills and lived experience, blending development, design, and community thinking into a single project. It is a practical example of how software can be shaped by empathy as much as by engineering, and how technical decisions can meaningfully impact real-world communities.
